Vocational training and Skills Development protocol was signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey - Bartın Chamber of Commerce and industry and IŞKUR in order to train qualified workforce in cooperation with the public-private sector, including theoretical and practical training.
Mr. Adnan Arslan, Işkur Provincial Director, Aytekin Doğan, Işkur Branch Director, informed Halil Balik and Ahmet Incekara, Chairman of the Board of directors about the details of vocational training and Skill Development protocol (mipip).
The Provincial Working Group to be formed within the scope of Vocational Training and skill development protocol (MIP) aims to evaluate labor demands and to organize trainings in order to ensure the training of qualified labor force needed by the sector and to make employer and trainee matching before vocational trainings.
For 2 years, theoretical and practical training will be applied in vocational training courses together and the qualified workforce needed by the employers will be trained with the training program which will be formed in line with employer demands.
Vocational training and Skills Development protocol will be organized within the context of training participants in the occupational accident and occupational disease and general health insurance premiums will be covered by işkur.
Employers will be able to request a quota of up to 50% of the number of employees, and evaluation will be made if there is a minimum of 5 people in a profession. Theoretical trainings will be carried out in educational venues or workplaces determined by our chamber and the number of trainees who will be educated in theoretical trainings shall not exceed 25. Applied training will take place in the workplace of the requesting employer, the number of trainees requested by the employers.
The total duration of the training shall not exceed 160 actual days. At the end of the period of 1 / 4th of total vocational education, at least 50% of the trainees who continue their education shall be employed on condition that they be started to work within 30 days from the date on which the examination result is announced at the workplace or other work place of the employer requesting the minimum period of actual
