Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established in 1906 under the name of Chamber of Commerce and Agriculturel Industry”.On 27.08.1906,Mr.Ahmet President of Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry by signing the establisment of the chamber he announced so as to publısh the artıcle beginnig with the discourse “Mr.Proud President”.In the article by expressing that there is no building belonging to the chamber he requested a building and secretary allocation.With the decision which was taken on 09.09.1906.İt is stated that the commercial men was separated in classes and by being registered to the chamber they were responsible fort the yearly contribution.It is informed that the people who weren’t registered to the chamber ,their estimation will not be accepted and they can’t participate in the goverment contests.
To establish the Chamber,the commercial activities of Bartın leaning against chicken and egg farming,marketing lumber are developing.The committee undermentioned is tried to found the Chamber and performed from 1906 until 1919.:

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry whıch was accepted on 08.03.1950 and after revised this numbered 559 is a Professional institution as a public institution with the law and the decrees ,from its foundation it carries on the studies according to the legal and regulation legislations.With the inclusion of he districtcts of Kurucaşile,Ulus,Amasra and community district of Kozcağız into the Chamber Workspace,all the problems of the region are the orders of the day.
